Holistic Therapy for Women in Fort Worth, TX
This is where the full picture of your experience as a woman is seen and honored.
Sure, you’re tired. But isn’t everyone?
Maybe you once heard someone complain about “brain fog” and scoffed, because you’re sure that’s just what being an adult feels like. We’re all exhausted, foggy, worried, and looking for where we misplaced our phone while we’re already talking on it. Don’t we all walk around feeling bored and frustrated with our job, our partners, and how long a DoorDash delivery takes?
That’s just life. Besides, you’ve been to the doctor and he said you’re healthy.
Yeah, you shift from loving your life to wanting to burn it all to the ground on a near-monthly basis, but that's not anything that can't be fixed by implanting birth control into your arm or uterus, or by journaling and meditating.
Sometimes you tell your boyfriend how you’re feeling and he gives you helpful advice like, “sleep more,” or “don't worry so much.” Of course! Why hadn't you thought of that?
The thing is, everyone tells you what you're experiencing is “normal,” but you can't help but feel like they're full of more shit than you are during your monthly bout of constipation no one can seem to explain.
you might feel like…
You have zero willpower.
You eat “clean” all week and demolish a bag of chips on Friday night or blow your paycheck on cocktails with the girls. You go hard at the gym for ten days straight and then get knocked off your game by cramps so bad you can't get out of bed. It seems like your body does something different every week and you're over here trying to keep up.
01
You can’t keep pace without paying a price.
For a while, you match every man in the room, and maybe even outwork them. You feel on top of the world, only to spend the weekend on the couch watching Love Island while your boyfriend is out playing basketball with the boys. Maybe you cry after a presentation bombs and wonder if maybe everyone was right and women are just too emotional.
02
Your brain is working against you.
You finally get a quiet moment and before you can think “this is nice,” you’ve already moved on to, “what’s wrong?” You snap at your husband and ten minutes later can’t even explain why you were upset. Sometimes, you cancel plans you were excited about three days ago because the thought of leaving your couch makes you want to cry.
03
Your body is sacred. It’s about damn time someone treated her that way.

How I Work
Sometimes we talk. Sometimes we walk. Sometimes we burn the rulebook. All of that is welcome here.
You know what's kind of nuts? Long-term birth control and some SSRIs can contribute to changes in your health that nobody mentioned to you. But I’m telling you now. I hold a certification from the International Association for Functional Hormone Health, and while I'm not a doctor, I know enough to nudge you toward bloodwork and connect dots that most therapy isn't even looking at.
As women, our lived experience, inherited experience, and bodies—physical health, and hormones—are key (and often unheard) players in our mental health (a.k.a. You’re not “hysterical”).
So when you're telling me about anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, brain fog, etc. I'm listening for whether something underneath needs attention. If your body has a mineral or nutritional deficiency or a gene mutation, we will never talk away the anxiety or depression it’s causing. I'm also going to ask you to track your cycle. Not just when you're bleeding, but how you're feeling throughout the month.
With cycle tracking and labwork, we can learn that those symptoms you’re feeling may be:
Autoimmune disorders
*
Hyper or hypo thyroid disorders
*
Endocrine disruption
*
Hormonal imbalances
*
PMOS
*
Endometriosis
*
PMS
*
PMDD
*
Leptin resistance
*
POTS
*
Hashimoto's
*
Long term sleep issues
*
IBS
*
Psoriasis
*
Headaches
*
Food intolerances
*
Other mind-body somatic symptoms

Once we know how to decode what your body has been trying to tell you all along, we can build systems around that information, instead of leaving you to get blindsided.
Only when we rule out a physical or hormonal cause for the emotions you’re feeling, we’ll delve into talk therapy, art therapy, trauma work, or (if you’re feeling it) pull oracle cards, do nature therapy, or explore the archetypes you may be playing into.
Believe me, there is a whole world of information you can gain just from learning how to tune into it.
A Holistic Approach to therapy can help you
Transform your relationship with your body.
You stop feeling disconnected from, at war with, or betrayed by your physical self. You replace self-punishment with deep self-compassion. You learn to treat your body as sacred, and you walk away with a completely different relationship to the skin you're in.

FAQs
COMMON QUESTIONS
-
I hold a Master's in Professional Counseling and I'm certified through the International Association for Functional Hormone Health, which trained me to understand how hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, thyroid conditions, and cycle-related patterns show up in a woman's mental health.
I'm also certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, trained through the Somatic Wilderness Therapy Institute in Boulder for nature-based therapeutic work, and I hold certifications in yoga, life coaching, personal training, and sound healing. I'm not a doctor and I don't diagnose medical conditions, but I know enough to ask the questions most therapists aren't asking. When your bloodwork, your thyroid, or your hormones need medical attention, I'll connect you with the right provider.
My job is making sure we're not spending months trying to talk our way through something that's rooted in your body.

Most therapy stays in your head and focuses on talking about what you're feeling, why you might be feeling it, and how to cope with it. I do that too, but I also go below the shoulders. I look at your cycle, your hormones, your nutrition, your sleep, and your nervous system, because if your body is depleted, we can talk about your feelings every week for the next two years and it's not going to do shit. I also bring in tools like nature therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), oracle cards, neurographic painting, parts work, and archetypes to get the job done

No. Most of my clients come in saying "I'm anxious," "I'm exhausted," or "something is off and I can't figure out what." You don't need a label and you don't need to know what's wrong. You need someone who's going to look at the whole picture instead of handing you a coping skill and sending you on your way. That's what we do here.
-
No. I'm not anti-medication and I'm not a doctor. If medication is working for you, great. What I will do is talk to you about whether anyone has checked for deficiencies that long-term use of birth control or certain SSRIs can contribute to, and I might nudge you to get updated bloodwork. I want to give you more information, not take away things that are actually working for you.
-
I encourage my clients to track their menstrual cycles because it reveals patterns most therapy misses. When your anxiety, depression, impulsive behavior, or emotional crashes consistently cluster in the same window of your cycle, that's data, not a personality flaw. I give you a simple breakdown and ask you to track how you're feeling throughout the month, not just when you're bleeding. It's one of the fastest ways to shift from "what's wrong with me" to "oh, this is what my body does."
-
It's an approach to understanding how men and women communicate differently at a biological level. If you're managing, correcting, or over-functioning in your relationship, this work helps you understand why you're doing it and how to get your needs met without setting your partner up to fail.
-
I don't believe you should be in therapy forever. We start with weekly sessions, build momentum, and adjust from there. The goal is always for you to outgrow me. Some clients wrap up in a few months. Some stick around every other week because they define therapy as self-care and they like having the space. I'm supportive of both as long as you're getting benefit from it. But my goal is always to have you graduate.

I'm not the right fit if you're experiencing active suicidality, psychosis, delirium, or severe persistent mental illness like schizophrenia or Bipolar 1 during active mania, because your brain is in overdrive and this process can fuel that. You need medical stabilization first, and I'd rather connect you with someone who can provide that than pretend I'm equipped for something I'm not.
Same goes for severe eating disorders, active substance withdrawal from alcohol, benzodiazepines, or opiates, and acute traumatic brain injury. Those need a level of medical support beyond what I offer. I also do not work with diagnosed Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). If any of this applies to you, I'm happy to help you find the right provider. I have great referrals for holistic functional nutritionists, doctors, nurse practitioners.
I will sometimes recommend Function Health, Midi Health, Mochi Health. I may also refer to Modern Thyroid clinic for labs, DUTCH Test, or salvia testing.
