You can be feminine and fierce—don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

“If I don’t do it, no one will.”

How many times have you told yourself that? Even as a kid, you were the one picking up the pieces after your parents dropped the ball… again. Someone had to do it. Maybe you’ve got coworkers passing off their work onto you because they know you’re going to pick up the slack. (And you do.)

At home, you’re not certain. At home, you feel like your husband or boyfriend doesn't hear you. You ask, and ask, and ask, but you pretty much always end up doing it yourself anyway. Forget about having dinner waiting for you when you get home or getting a moment to yourself to unwind.

But what are you going to do? Not do it? Of course not. You’re the strong one. You’re the one who gets shit done. Sure, you may smoke a little to get through. Maybe sometimes you drink a bit too much, eat more than feels good, doomscroll, spend money you don’t have, or put in excessive hours at the gym.

You make it work, though, because most of the time you're like, yeah, whatever, I'll do it. But it seems like once a month or so you put on your comfy pants, reach for the Oreos, and start Googling therapists again.

You feel like you:

my approach

MY NAME’S ELYSSA.

You’re not the first person to fuck up. I’ve been there, and it all turned out okay.

Listen, my Saturn Return was a mess. No one ever tells us that our 20s aren’t glamorous like they seem on TV or social media. I call them the Terrible 20s because many of us are still learning how to grow up, but we can drink and drive while we do it. Crazy, right?

There’s so much for us to learn during this time in our lives, and learning those lessons means letting things get messy. Yet, we expect ourselves to have it all together, all the time.

Even if you’re past your 20s, you’re probably still stumbling through life like everyone else, just trying to figure stuff out, and pretending you’re not. I don’t need you to bring your most perfect self into our sessions. I encourage you to step into this process of navigating the wilderness of your own story.

The thing is, I don't think you're broken, and I don't think you need to be in therapy forever. I think you're a woman who learned to hold everything together for everyone else, and now you need someone in your corner who's been through it and will tell you the truth because she gives a shit. That’s how you return to knowing yourself, trusting yourself, and fiercely, lovingly nourishing your soul.

I see therapy as a kind of vision quest. And if anyone is brave enough to give it a try and strong enough to experience profound growth, it’s you.

MY SPECIALTIES

There is room for all of you here.

HOW TO

GET STARTED:

01

YOU REACH OUT.

I offer a complimentary consultation so we can decide if this is the right fit. During that time, we can chat logistics, including session length, payment, and insurance options. I also have that information on my FAQ page.

02

WE EMBARK ON A JOURNEY.

You begin to understand your body, your hormones, and the unhelpful beliefs you’ve been carrying. We help you create lifestyle systems that nourish you instead of depleting you

03

YOU OUTGROW ME.

You step fully back into the world with reclaimed agency over your life. You trust yourself and your vitality because you know yourself on a profoundly deeper level than before.

You can’t out-therapy an issue that exists in the body.

Our mental health isn’t limited to what’s going on in our brains, but that’s where a lot of therapy stays. It’s probably where you’ve been living a lot of your life. (And has it worked?)

I take the work below the neck because there’s so much that happens in our bodies that can affect how we feel, think, and behave. I often encourage my clients to pursue blood work or track their menstrual cycles because of everything it can reveal to us. When your anxiety clusters in the same two-week window of your cycle, that's not “your fault.” That's probably your hormones.

Your body is rich with details if you learn how to listen to them, and I’ll show you how.
